Yes, we welcome international and foreign patients at our centre. Is the centre accessible by public transport?
Cyberjaya is served by the MRT Putrajaya Line with stations at Cyberjaya Utara and Cyberjaya City Centre. Patients travelling by public transport can reach the general Cyberjaya area via MRT and arrange onward transport to the centre. We recommend contacting us for specific directions from the nearest MRT station.
Can I eat before my dialysis session?
Dialysis patients are generally advised to follow a specific renal diet and to be cautious about eating immediately before a session. Consuming a light meal before dialysis is usually acceptable, but patients should avoid high-potassium and high-phosphorus foods. How do I know if my kidney condition requires dialysis?
Your doctor or nephrologist will assess your kidney function through blood tests measuring creatinine and GFR levels, along with urine tests and imaging. Dialysis is typically recommended when kidney function drops below 15%, accompanied by symptoms such as fatigue, fluid retention, and difficulty breathing. Early consultation with a nephrologist is strongly recommended.
