Dr. Mohd Padzil Daros

Gedung Penawar Sdn Bhd (GPSB) began its journey in 2002, founded by Dr. Mohd Padzil Daros. He initially opened a clinic named Klinik Family, which marked the beginning of his commitment to accessible healthcare. This dedication led to a collaboration between GPSB and Yayasan EmkaySdn Bhd, focusing on the establishment and management of several dialysis units.
In 2003, GPSB was officially incorporated by Dr. Mohd Padzil Daros and Puan Adura Masood. The company was born from the vision and passion of a doctor determined to ensure that patients suffering from end-stage renal failure (ESRF) receive the highest standard of care and treatment.
Dr. Mohd Padzil Daros was born in Johor and raised in Negeri Sembilan and Lendu, Alor Gajah, Melaka. He completed his primary and secondary education in Negeri Sembilan before pursuing his medical studies at Universiti Sains Malaysia, where he graduated with a Doctor of Medicine degree in 1989. He later earned a Master’s degree from Universiti Malaya and an MBA from Open University Malaysia, further strengthening his expertise in both healthcare and business management.
Dr. Mohd Padzil has since successfully established and overseen the operations of 40 dialysis centers, with plans underway to develop 10 more centers through a strategic collaboration with Wakaf An Nur and a franchise-based model.
In 2020, marking GPSB’s 15th anniversary, Dr. Padzil introduced the company’s tagline: “Green Quality Wara’ Dialysis for All.” This tagline reflects his commitment to delivering dialysis care that surpasses the quality standards set by Malaysian health authorities. His vision also emphasizes environmental responsibility, with the use of recycled materials incorporated into the design and construction of each dialysis center.
